With the new security could you please make sure the pedestrian gate is unlocked making it easier for parents to get from back car park to the front of school, it hard getting through the car gates with the cars and the ruts in the road. if gate was open daily would be much safer for the kids. I also feel looking the car park at 9 is not long enough now i can’t get year one in till 8.45 especially on nursery days when i will then have to go from car park to front to back then to car park. (nursery and year one both start at 8.45 so impossible to drop both at same time). I also don’t see how year 2 can start school at 845 am when there in same classroom as year 1 who now comming in later ? i used to drop year 1 in at 8.40, into nursery by 9.50.
Thank you for your idea, Donna. We are going to match the times of the small gate so that it is also open when the large gate is open. We have also discussed the gates with the Nursery and the main gate will now be locked at 9.05am to give Nursery parents an extra 5 minutes. So far, we’ve been very pleased with the new system and the atmosphere inside school seems to be much more settled and learning is starting promptly. We appreciate the support of everyone in helping this to be the case and feel much happier about the security of our school.
Am trying to raise fund for PHA uk, a charity thats support the condition Hannah has, wondered if you could share the link and or maybe consider a none school uniform day for this?
Link in relation to collection for pha UK, just noticed it never copied over last time. If anyone can help or the school would consider a non school uniform day in the future we’d be very greatful.
